The people of Gateway are a family connecting with people and experiencing life together in Christ.

God has called us and placed us in the town of Ballentine to connect with the Dutch Fork Community. It is our vision that our family will connect with the people of our community so that they have the opportunity to experience life in Christ.

Our mission challenges us to invite people to life in Christ and to connect with people so that they experience life change (spiritual growth). Since the year of our relocation we have seen over 200 people join the membership of our church -- many of them publicly professing their faith in Christ for the first time through baptism.

As we grow numerically, we must also grow spiritually. We encourage everyone attending Gateway to embrace our Big 3, our disciple-making process: Know, Grow, Go.

1. Know Christ:

Know the Lord by entering into a personal raltionship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ, by worshipping Him together with many other believers on Sunday morning, and by maintaining a real and personal time with Him throughout the week.

2. Grow in Christ:

Grow in your faith and love for Christ and people by doing life together with others on the same journey in a small group setting. We call our small groups life groups.

3. Go in Christ:

Reveal an authentic life in Christ as you go about your normal living. Gateway provides regular opportunities for you to influence our church, city, state, nation and world through several ministry opportunities.
