what's Sunday like?

Our worship services are designed to help you draw closer to God and to experience His presence in a meaningful way. We use multi media, contemporary songs, ancient hymns, and the timeless wisdom of God’s Word to help you grasp the answers to life’s issues. We give you the opportunity to mature in your relationship with God through prayer and reflection. We also participate in the practice of communion several times during the year.

Our atmosphere is casual. We care more about meeting you where you are than what you wear. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable whether you’ve been a Christian for many years or just want to check in to see what Gateway is all about. Our worship program enables us to fulfill our mission of connecting with each other and our community and to encourage one another in unity as we experience LIFE in Christ together. By worshiping together in common venues, we will:

promote the unity of our fellowship;
enable more interaction within the body;
benefit from the diversity of our family;
reduce the Sunday morning load on our pastoral staff, worship team, and volunteers.

We have three worship services on Sunday morning:

with Classic Music: 9:00am
with Contemporary Music: 10:15am, 11:35am

Because we want to encourage participation, we will most often utilize known songs. We do think it is important to learn new songs. As such, we will introduce new songs periodically often doing so in a teaching manner.

Our goal is to make worship an on-going life experience with the hope of bringing you to a place of greater love and maturity in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
