Opportunities to Get Involved

A single droplet into a body of water causes a ripple effect that reaches the distant shores. As a volunteer in the family of Gateway, you too can be as a far-reaching droplet. There’s no limit to how far God can use you to reach others. What ministry will you drop into?

As you consider that question and the place where you will serve, it is important that you are operating within your giftedness. God has equipped his people with gift(s) in order to help each other.

4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. 5 There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. 6 God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. 7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 (NLT)

To assist you in understanding your spiritual gifts, you may choose to take an online gift test. You may take the online test by clicking HERE. This is not intended to be definitive. Our spiritual gifting is more complicated than a simple test.  However, this is a good place to start in understanding how you are "wired" and where you may be most effective. Once you've taken the test, we'd be excited to hear from you and to discuss with you if you are interested. You may email your results to info@gatewaybc.com.

Level one is the blitz:  These projects are designed to touch a lot of people in a very short period of time.

Level two team member:
These projects give the opportunity for greater interaction with people in our community and a greater chance for more significant conversation.

Level three team member:
