The mission of the JOY Ministry is to reach families of special needs children and adults inviting them to a LIFE in Christ!
We genuinely listen to what our families have to say, becoming aware of their needs, showing respect for their family members and asking, "What can we do for you?"
Our programs involve creating a one to one shadowing relationship between someone with special needs and an experienced volunteer. Our goal is inclusion into all of the church opportunities. When that is not possible, a self-contained classroom is provided for those who are not able to be mainstreamed or may need some "down time." Every individual sets his/her own pace while participating in a program or activity. We will actively work with participants to enable them to become an integral and vital part of the church family.
