collegeThe college ministry of Gateway will encourage college students to connect with one another for the purpose of growth in their LIFE in Christ and in community with other students.
To accomplish this, we provide contemporary worship, opportunities for fun events, and a venue for downtown community in worship.
College students are encouraged to attend the 2nd contemporary worship service at 11:35 p.m. in our worship center. Our worship leader and praise band leads us to join in a contemporary, electric worship service of current praise songs and hymns. In each service, hear a relevant message grounded in God’s Word from our Senior Pastor, Don Brock. Our atmosphere is casual. We care more about meeting you where you are than what you wear. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable whether you’ve been a Christian for many years or just want to check in to see what Gateway is all about.
During semester breaks, we will plan special events to give students the opportunity to have fun, fellowship, and service together.
We encourage students who live in the downtown area to plug in to our sister church, Midtown Fellowship, on Sunday evenings. (See www.midtowncolumbia.com for service times.)
If you have questions about how you, as a college student, can connect with the Gateway family, please feel free to contact Mark Canada, Pastor of Student Ministries (email: markc@gatewaybc.com; office: 803-461-4817).
