Welcome to Gateway Baptist Preschool

Welcome to Gateway Baptist Weekday Preschool. We are proud to be serving the families of the Irmo, Ballentine, and Chapin area of South Carolina. Our program began in 1988 and serves children from 1-4 years old.

We are a ministry of Gateway Baptist Church and it is our goal to provide a loving Christian environment in which your child can grow in all areas of his/her life, becoming all that God has intended for them to be.

Our programs and activities are designed to aid the development of the whole child, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and cognitively, to give opportunities for their awareness of God’s world and His love for them and to prepare them academically for kindergarten.

Our preschool is a school year program that operates from September to May. We follow the Lexington 5 school holiday schedule.

Preschool hours are 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Children attend a variety of days, appropriate to their age level. We also offer several optional programs for 2-4 year olds that extend the day until 1:00 p.m. These options are: Picnic Pals, Bi-Lingual Buddies, and Dance.
