The Kids’ Ministry at Gateway is created with you and your children in mind. Our goal in every environment is to help build strong families by partnering with you as you lead your child into a growing friendship with Jesus. We have designed each ministry area to be exciting, creative, fun, and to capture your child’s imagination—all to be a catalyst for a memorable, impactful, and applicable message each week!
We provide 4 unique and age-appropriate environments for your kids:
• 6 weeks – 24 months
• 3 – 5 years
• Kindergarten – 3rd Grade
• 4th – 5th Grade
Gateway Kids Ministry exists to REACH non-believing kids, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, to challenge them to SERVE in ministry and WORSHIP God with their life.
We know your child’s safety is important to you and we share that concern. From matching parent and child security tags to ensuring that every volunteer is screened with an interview and a federal background check, we go to great lengths to ensure that each environment is a safe and enjoyable experience for you and your child.
• Please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the service starts. When you arrive, look for the area designated  New Family Registration.  We will greet your family there and register your child for the appropriate environment.

• We know your child’s safety is important to you and we share that concern. • After you are registered, you and your child will be given matching security tags that are unique to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the nametag portion of your matching security tags, which bears a code that is matched to your portion during checkout at the end of the service. During checkout, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

• If your child needs you during the service, we’ll contact you using a pager (pagers are available for children two years and younger) or by displaying the unique code from your security tag in our adult worship environments.
Tina Corn and her dog, Riley come to us from Spartanburg. She is a graduate of North Greenville University and holds a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. Tina has served in some capacity of ministry for over 20 years. She is thrilled to be a part of the Gateway family and is excited to see what God is doing at Gateway.
Michelle Crosby is the Elementary Coordinator for Gateway Kids. She has served at Gateway as a volunteer for several years before joining the Gateway Kids staff. Michelle and her husband Jacob have been married for 23 years. They have 3 children, Tiffany, Joshua and Tatum. They also have 1 fur baby, Sandy who is an aging poodle.
At Gateway Kids, we believe that building relationships with our kids is foundational in reaching them for the Lord. We would love for you to come serve alongside us and invest in the lives of our kids as we teach them what it means to be a true follower of Christ by experiencing a life-changing relationship with Him.

The joy we get as a result of being a part of the Gateway Kids ministry is unparalleled. When you serve with us, you get a front row seat to watching the love of Jesus come alive each week through the eyes of a child. Our volunteers make Gateway Kids the special place that it is, their presence boosts a child’s confidence, makes them feel seen and known, and empowers them to learn and grow in their faith.

We always have opportunities for caring adults who want to invest in the lives of these amazing kids, so if you’re interested send us an email at TinaC@gatewaybc.com.
